Who says you can’t cook breakfast food using a grill? Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and if you’re having a tasty meal fresh off the grates, you’re sure to have a nice day ahead of you! Try it on the weekends – get your grill out and have breakfast with your family out in the yard!

Cheesy Bacon and Egg Grilled Sandwich
What you need:
- 1 egg
- 2 slices Canadian bacon
- 2 slices American cheese
- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- Salt and pepper
In a frying pan, melt 2 tablespoons butter and cook the egg sunny side up style until yolk is cooked through. Season with salt and pepper then set aside. Cook the bacon in the same pan if desired. Place 1 slice of cheese on top of a bread slice, followed by the cooked egg, bacon slices and remaining slice of cheese. Top with remaining bread slice. Brush the outside of each bread slice with remaining butter and cook on a pre-heated grill over medium-low heat until cheese have melted and bread is golden.
Breakfast Egg and Mayo Sandwich
What you need:
- 4 slices bread of your choice
- 2 eggs
- 4 teaspoons mayonnaise
- 4 teaspoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
In a small pot, boil the eggs. Allow to cool completely before removing the shell. Place hardboiled eggs in a bowl and mash them down using a fork. Add the mayonnaise to the bowl and mix until ingredients are well-combined.
Spread butter on a piece of bread and add half of the egg and mayo mixture. Spread butter on another slice and place it on top of the prepared bread to make a sandwich. Repeat with the rest of the ingredients. Brush a grill pan with butter and place sandwiches on it. Cook over a pre-heated grill over medium-low heat for 4-5 minutes.
Grilled Cheese Pancake Sandwich
What you need:
- 5 pieces freshly cooked pancakes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- Ground black pepper
- Maple syrup, for serving
Spread one pancake with 1/ 2 tablespoon mayonnaise then sprinkle 1/4 cup cheddar, 1/4 cup mozzarella and 1 tablespoon Parmesan. Season with a pinch of pepper and top with another pancake. Repeat with remaining ingredients until you have a 4-layer cheese pancake sandwich.
Place on a grill pan and cook until cheeses have melted, about 2-3 minutes.
