Whatever the season may be, Christmas, birthdays or any other parties, kids simply love to munch desserts every after meal. You will rarely find a child who does not like to eat ice cream, fruit salad and other sweets that touches their taste buds. Beyond what occasion is, it is indeed a great move to have a ready-to-go kitchen appliance in the house. What does it mean? Appliances, like soda chargers, must always be present in the kitchen so as to have an easier and hassle-free time in making an abrupt meal to satisfy any kind of hunger. One of these new inventions to add up in the kitchen is the cream dispensers.
So, what exactly is the work done by cream dispensers? Well, as the name itself, it dispenses cream or whipped cream to be precise. It creates the cream fluff to make it presentable before topping it up on any dessert you may have on the table. But, did you know that there is a metallic element that helps in generating such cream? Yes, there is! It has Nitrous Oxide on the chargers. Are you wondering how did it all happen? And how it does not affect the taste of the cream? Let’s take a quick look on how it is done.
Firstly, gas is being used to puff the cream up until it came a time that it is as fluffy as you want. While the gas is on its way back, the fat on it will be broken down and then become a cream. Once the molecules of fat had broken down into pieces, it will form a single coating to wrap around the cream. This will hold the air of the coating for a while producing good fluffy cream. But, as soon as the gas started to leave, the cream will become watery and may appear un-puffed. At least 28% of the fat is needed to achieve the thickness required for it to become fluffy.
Experts generally recommend regular whip cream. To properly release the air, it has to be punctured. Chargers are actually made to let the puncturing done easily. Cream dispensers only whip the cream on you are using for the moment. It means that the cream left will stay fresh and untouched.
In general, dispensers are stainless and made from sturdy materials. It is also relatively small, making it easy to put wherever you want in the kitchen. But, there are also units that go along with cream chargers. As what have mentioned earlier, chargers play a role in producing a fluffy cream. Small sized-cylinders generally measure 1.8cm and 6.3cm in width and length respectively. It is described to be round in shape on its one end while the other has a tip with narrow size. Cream chargers cannot be simply refilled but are recyclable. When you look at the market, branded chargers has nitrous oxide of 8 grams, enough to make one liter of whipped cream. Shelf life accounts for a year.
