I Want To Make My Separated Husband Miss Me So Much That He Comes Home

Of all of the strategies that I’m asked about by wives attempting to lure their husbands back home, making him miss you so much that he can’t wait to return is the most common. Wives often aren’t sure quite how to pull this off without appearing too desperate or obvious. I heard from a wife who said: “my husband left about three weeks ago. He said that he just wasn’t happy and he needed time to evaluate how he wants to proceed with our marriage. Needless to say, I was heartbroken but no matter what I did or said, he indicated that he was leaving anyway and that there was no way to change his mind. We do speak somewhat regularly. He checks in with me, but he doesn’t give me any hints about what he is thinking. And he never mentions coming home. Frankly, this is what is most important to me. I want him home where he belongs. I also try to hint around to see if he will say that he misses me and wants to come home, but he never does. How do he make him miss me more than he does? How do I make him miss me enough that he wants to come home.”

I had a definite and very strong opinion on this because I was in this exact situation and I felt very strongly that if I could make my separated husband miss me and yearn for me enough, he would finally come home. But I found through my own experience that the harder I tried, the more he resisted. I did eventually get him to miss me quite a bit, but it wasn’t until I almost gave up my very obvious plan that things turned around. It’s my experience that actively trying to make him miss you will often accomplish just the opposite. But taking a very unconventional approach often works much better. I will explain more below. Am I Supposed to Know Who You Are? And Other Email Marketing Mistakes

Rant incoming. If you use email marketing, it might be the most profitable rant you’ve read in a while.

I’m on many email lists across many topics – entrepreneurship, hypnosis, marketing, food, a few ones for comedy and entertainment…

So I see plenty of great emails in my inbox.

And plenty of duds.

Here’s one problem I’ve seen more than usual. I don’t know if it’s happening more or if I’m just on the wrong lists – either way, it shouldn’t happen at all.

An example: Continue reading “Am I Supposed to Know Who You Are? And Other Email Marketing Mistakes”

A Prodigal Inn & Gallery, Bethel Maine

Just what possessed inn- keepers Tom and Marcey White to move from Texas to Bethel, Maine in order to open a most unique inn, A Prodigal Inn & Gallery, is the question I had recently posed to this charming couple.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Bethel, this tiny village is located in the western mountains of Maine 70 miles from Portland. Since its settlement in 1768, its population at approximately 2360, including the surrounding school district communities, has remained quite stable. However, during the peak seasons it swells to about 6000.

What is noteworthy about this scenic area in the heart of Western Maine is its convenient location to the popular Sunday River Ski Resort, as well as snowmobiling, hunting, tubing, snowboarding, fishing, hiking, antiquing, kayaking, canoeing, golfing, historical research, and not to forget the brilliance of the fall foliage. Animal Damage To Your Home – Are You Covered?

I have seen hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage to people’s homes. This damage was not caused by storms or fires or high water. The damage I see is caused by wild animals. Sometimes homeowner insurance covers the loss. Often times it doesn’t.

I own and operate a nuisance wildlife removal service in Flint, Michigan. In this article I will review two actual cases of animal damage for you. These two cases combined cost these two homeowners almost $20,000.

The first situation involved a family that took a month long vacation from their home in Flint, Michigan. They rented a house for a month and had a wonderful time in sunny Florida. Upon their return they found their house ransacked. Chairs were tipped over, pictures were ripped from the walls, and the curtains and drapes were ripped to shreds. Every item on every shelf and had been flung to the floor. Boxes of cereal and other food were ripped open and the contents scattered all over the floors. The heartbreak really sunk in when they saw that the vandals had broken every Royal Daulton (a very expensive collectable) that they had is a large display cabinet. How to Make Your Restaurant Stand Out

So you have a nice restaurant with good food and service, and yet the dining room is not always full. You spend quite a lot of money in marketing and wonder why it’s not working for you.

Well let me tell you, there are many other restaurants with good food, good service and a nice ambience, so your place might not be as special in the eyes of your customers as you want it to be.

Put yourself in the shoes of your customers. Why should they come to your restaurant rather than visit one of your competitors?

Well, the truth is that if you stand out from other local options, they probably won’t. Continue reading “How to Make Your Restaurant Stand Out”

How to Test Puffball Mushrooms for Edibility

I was sure I’d found puffballs (Calvatia and Lycoperdon) on yesterday’s hike.

I followed my own rules for identification and edibility. Last night I matched features of the mushrooms with my field guides, notes and trusted sources. Finally, a couple of hours after dinner, I cooked and ate one small piece of what know is edible.

This morning, I ate two more tiny pieces and if I continue to feel fine, lunch will be a sautéed mushroom omelet.

Once again, I have “Wildman” Steve Brill to thank for personally encouraging me to apply my foraging skills to mushrooms – and for posting detailed information on his website.

In the field, I gathered little mushrooms growing out of buried, decaying logs. They were soft and when I broke them open their inner flesh remained white. That was enough to put them in paper bags and take them home. Once I got them out again, I matched their qualities and shapes with my field guides and “Wildman’s” website.

Tips for Building a Predator-Proof Chicken Coop

We all want to protect our babies, building a predator-proof chicken coop is probably the most important aspect of protecting them. chicken predators come in all shapes and sizes. Cats, dogs, snakes, owls and hawks for instance. The list can be daunting. Here are a few quick tips to get you started with predator proofing your coop.

Motion sensor lighting is an obvious first choice. Nighttime predators such as coyotes fox and owls hunt during the night and are easily spooked just by the light turning on and off. Although this has worked in various situations for many people it’s not always the end it all solution your looking for. Eventually, the predator will be hungry enough to ignore the light or at least make a mad dash towards the food in hopes they will get away with it.

Is Statistical Tournament Poker Gambling?

I’m a poker player, not a professional by any means, but not bad player either. This last month a new poker parlor opened in Portland, Oregon that got my interest. I had seen lots of tournament poker in bars around Portland but they didn’t appeal to me for a few reasons…

1. They were in a bar, which meant a smoke filled environment and I am not fond of cigarette smoke.

2. The nights of play varied, often it was like every Tuesday night but not every night, if I wanted to vary my nights of play I had to go to different locations.

3. There was no guarantee that I could play, if I made the trip to the bar and the seats at the tables were already assigned I was SOL, I made the trip for no reason, or I had to wait 2 hours for the next game to begin, which might already be all assigned. The Benefits of Switching to Organic Pet Supplies

We all love our pets and want nothing but the best for them. We must, otherwise the pet supplies industry wouldn’t be at $60 billion a year and growing. In an industry that large, however, most companies are just in it for the money and aren’t worried about Fido’s health. Here are a few reasons you should reconsider the food, toys, litter, and any other pet supplies you have for your furry family member.

It’s Much Healthier

Imagine for a second that you ate nothing but processed foods all day, every day. You’d develop all kinds of health problems – obesity, high cholesterol, allergies, etc. Now take a look at Fido’s bag of food. I bet it’s full of fillers like corn and grains. Open up your dog or cat’s mouth and look at those teeth; tell me those are teeth that have evolved to eat corn and grains. You can’t! Those are teeth that are used to eating meat. Choosing an organic diet for your pet usually means he or she will have more energy, fewer health problems, and be generally much healthier. The Secrets of Attracting Mockingbirds Using Bird Feeder Plans

If understanding what this bird likes to eat is the key to all things, then just what does a Mockingbird like to eat? Mockingbirds eat insects. Easy then, we invest in bird feeder plans for and create a suet feeder or we buy one. Don’t jump to conclusions because the Mockingbird likes sunflower seeds, raisins and fruit in addition to suet.

So then I guess we create a suet feeder with suet in the middle, sunflower seeds in the tray, and a piece of fruit put in for good measure. Small pieces of bread on the ground work too. My granddaddy and I did that when I was just a young girl.

My recommendation is to do exactly what was just proposed after which do these things too. This bird wants water as much as food, so you may have the best outcomes if you also place a bird bath nearby and safeguard it near some foliage. These birds aren’t as relaxed out in the open and choose dense bushes and trees for a feeling of safety. While they imitate other birds, Mockingbirds need their space and are easily scared by some other birds and animals who would eat their food or be a threat to them. See our post, “Keeping the Critters Out of Your Bird Feeders”, on our web site, Bird-feeder-plans.org. Continue reading “The Secrets of Attracting Mockingbirds Using Bird Feeder Plans”
