Welding Jobs And Low Pay: (And 3 Things Can You Do About It Now)

The average welder is now 56 years old.

Young people are not becoming welders because the welding shop in school has been replaced by a computer room (which is crazy, because welding is the glue that holds our world together).

At the same time, a real and sustained boom is beginning in the USA for many reasons – a boom that will last 20 years – a boom that will be screaming out for (and paying big bucks for) welders. Why will the boom happen? What can you do to make $100 an hour? Why are welding wages still so low? Get the answers here.

What is good about welding? Continue reading “Welding Jobs And Low Pay: (And 3 Things Can You Do About It Now)”

ADHD Herbal Remedies – Skullcap

Did you know that our body can naturally heal itself and overcome most diseases? As long as we maintain a healthy lifestyle, eat nutritious food, and get lots of exercise, we can recover from any condition without using medication. Sometimes it’s just a matter of finding out which combination of natural remedies will work for us. In the case of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, a healthy lifestyle and diet combined with herbal remedies can manage the disorder more effectively than medication. Skullcap is one ADHD herbal remedy that can help reduce hyperactivity, inattention, and the other symptoms of the condition.

There are two known varieties of skullcap: American skullcap (Scutellaria lateriflora) and Chinese Skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis). Although both varieties are called “skullcap,” they are in fact very different herbs used to treat different diseases. Chinese skullcap can be found in Central Asia and Russia, and is used by Chinese medicine to treat headaches, allergic reactions, and inflammation. American skullcap grows in North America and cold climates, and is the variety used to treat ADHD and a number of neurological conditions. Skullcap was first discovered by the first Europeans in America, who discovered that it can prevent rabies from animal bites. Several hundred years later, scientists observed that skullcap’s ability to treat rabies naturally is due to its calming effects on the central nervous system. Research on the herb also shows that it can increase the brain’s blood supply and inhibit muscle spasms. Continue reading “ADHD Herbal Remedies – Skullcap”

Energy Enhancement Meditation and the Psychology of Ego Strategies of the Aloof and the Poor Me

These psychological ego Strategies arise where separate intelligences are split off from the central stem of your Soul and are Archetypes created and used by the Hurt Inner Children.

Hurt Inner Children split off from the Central Soul personality when the person gets traumatised by the painful and corrupt actions of life.

These Hurt Inner Children flow in and out of your consciousness and it is these split personalities which use the Strategies like the Violator, the Poor Me and the Selfish Competitive Star in order to get the attention and the Love of everyone around them.

The problem is that these psychology ego strategies always hurt the people around them. Eventually they stop working and the people around them throw them out.

With ego strategies, if you are rich everyone puts up with them, their job depends on it, but no-one likes them. Continue reading “Energy Enhancement Meditation and the Psychology of Ego Strategies of the Aloof and the Poor Me”

The Qigong Breathing Method of Energy Movement.

This is one straightforward Qigong method originated by a Chinese physician Li Guang Po in China. Using this method, one is able to gain the level of small circulation in about a month. There are other more elaborate methods and people practicing them often end up failing to open up their small circulation and reap the benefit of excellent health. I picked up this method quite accidentally. A book written by the author in Chinese was given to me by my country’s senior diplomat in Peking and I was supposed to interprete and explain it to my boss in 1994. Instead, I began learning and mastering it. And, my superior, an army General, became my student. Again, it is the unseen hand of my spiritual guides that might have engineered the opportunity for me to pick up a useful method of meditation.

The small circulation/Micro-cosmic Orbit refers to the opening up of the acupuncture points along the Governing (Tu) Vessel and Conception (Ren) Vessel – the back and front meridians of our body, along our front and back spinal column – and providing an obstructed movement of Qi – internal energy. What Is This RSS, XML, RDF, and Atom Business?

It’s been a long day at work and you’re in no mood to cook dinner or go out. Time to count on the reliable pizza delivery guy. The order is called in and he promptly arrives with smokin’ hot pizza within 30 minutes as promised. If it were only that easy with a picky family where no one can agree on the same restaurant for dinner. One wants Mexican, another wants Chinese, and another wants a burger and Mexican.

Instead of running to three different places, you call a delivery service that goes to all of them and brings it to you. What could be easier in getting a meal without cooking it or fetching it?

RSS, XML, RDF, and Atom are the food delivery guy of the Internet. The content they deliver is mixed and cooked elsewhere on the Internet just like the meal isn’t made on your doorstep and the acronym fellows bring the content to you via software or an online application. Instead of trying to remember all the places where you like to go to get the latest news, it all comes to you once you order your food.

NLP for Coaches: Understanding Submodalities 101 – A Language of the Unconscious Mind

I love working with Submodalities. I have been fascinated by the unconscious mind since age nine when my brother introduced me to Psycho Cybernetics (Maxwell Maltz). I knew that by affecting the unconscious mind anything is possible! Are you with me here? Does this excite you too?

When I found out how Submodalities work so easily and elegantly to produce lightning fast change, I found it difficult to sleep, thinking of one possibility after another.

Let’s get started. Get a pen and paper, draw a line down the center. Write “Food I love” on one side, and “Food I can’t stand” on the other.

Meditation and Breathing – Suggestions for Beginners

Years ago, during a rough patch in life, I started seeing a behavioral psychologist to deal with some anxiety issues and insomnia. Part of his sessions often consisted of a guided meditation, where he would speak to me in gentle tones while I lay on the sofa, breathing deeply. The meditations were probably a good 20 minutes or so, and frankly, I wondered if perhaps these sessions were just a way for my therapist to get a break from listening to my life nonsense, but I found them very relaxing and left afterwards feeling calm and refreshed, two feelings that didn’t come naturally to me.

After one session, my therapist complimented me on my breathing. He noted that I could slow my breath down and take very long, deep breaths that helped me reach a different state. Higher consciousness? Maybe. Calm and relaxed? Definitely, at least during and for a bit after the meditation. He asked if I had learned this somewhere. I told him about the years I had spent taking Kundalini Yoga from a prominent LA teacher. It wasn’t daily training, just a class or two a week with a bunch of other students in a studio or in the instructor’s living room. The Benefits Of Marrying Chinese Brides!

There is a strong tendency these days for many males to marry Chinese brides, however, many men are unsure of Chinese women and their true character, and what their marriage to a Chinese woman will be like. This is understandable bearing in mind the culture difference and a lack of understanding of the Chinese culture. Many men wonder if it’ll be a risk that may be financially and emotionally detrimental.

With this is mind, I decided to write this article based on my experience of being married to a Chinese woman and having lived in China for over eight years and having dated a broad cross-section of Chinese females. Firstly I should say that the culture difference does lend itself to some misunderstandings that can cause quite a few problems and disagreements in the marriage when the wrong type of Chinese bride is chosen. This means that in the first place you should understand the differences thoroughly before making a commitment. Continue reading “The Benefits Of Marrying Chinese Brides!”

Frugal Travel Tips For Beijing, China

Beijing, home of the 2008 Olympics, has more to offer it than simply an Olympic venue. Sites such as the Forbidden City and The Temple of Heaven charge an entrance fee. Other sites such as the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs require, in addition to the entrance fees, an excursion outside the city. However there are ways for the frugal traveler to reduce costs.

The Great Wall

Seeing some sections of The Great Wall is a must (to see it all takes years). It is located outside of the city and getting there can be costly. English language tours are costly. Chinese language tours? A tenth to a fifth of the cost. Chinese language tours in minibuses leave from the street just south of the Great Hall of the People off Tian’anmen Square every morning. Tickets can be purchased from the booth on the pavement before departure. We stopped at four different sections of the wall, Badaling the most popular, commercial and crowded, and three others where we were the only people we could see.
